DESCRIPTION:Free lecture on Sunday\, August 13\, 2023\, 2 p.m. at the Campbell House Museum \nJoin Campbell House Executive Director Andy Hahn as he explores the story of Robert Campbell’s birthplace\, Aughalane House.  This house was set in the countryside of the Glenelly River Valley and the Sperrin Mountains near the small village of Plumbridge\, Aughalane was once at the center of the Campbell family’s 500 acre farm.  This presentation is a study lecture in advance on the Museum’s trip to Ireland in September 2023. SUMMARY:Presentation: From Rotten Eggs to Respect
DESCRIPTION:Join the Campbell House Museum for a presentation titled “From Rotten Eggs to Respect.” This is a new program for Towards Women’s Equality Day and will feature three historical reenactors discussing women’s suffrage and winning the right to vote. The reenactors will be in costume presenting three little known stories on the road to equality. \nThe event will be formatted like a talk show and is free to the public. It will be here at the Campbell House Museum Saturday\, August 26 at 1:30 p.m. presented by the Voices of American HERstory.
