See how artifacts, documents, and “character cards” bring into focus the compelling narratives of individuals associated with two historic house museums–the Campbell House and the Field House. The issue of freedom is central to the story of two women and two men who lived in the tumultuous times surrounding the Civil War. Their struggles and issues of compassion, advocacy, resilience, and justice connect to our communities today.
